Lord Agro Trade

Serving Europe with Top-Quality Canadian Lentils and Pulses

Canadian lentils are widely used across Europe in both traditional cuisine and modern food manufacturing. In countries like France, Spain, Italy, and Germany, green lentils (Laird and Eston types) are popular in regional dishes and stews due to their firm texture, consistent size, and clean appearance. Meanwhile, red split lentils are essential in soups, purees, baby food, and convenience meals because of their quick cooking time and smooth consistency.

Our Products

We offer a complete range of premium Canadian pulses for global markets. Among them, Red Lentils are one of the most demanded products across the Middle East, while Chickpeas also play an important role in regional trade.

Our Customer FAQ

  • What is your Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)?

Our standard MOQ is 5 containers. However, we can accommodate smaller orders upon request. Please note that lower volumes may result in higher shipping costs and customs clearance process cost.

  • Do you provide product samples?

No. Lentils are a bulk agricultural commodity, so an initial sample can only serve as a general reference and cannot guarantee the quality of the final shipment.

The reliable method is a third-party inspection of the actual cargo based on Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) grading standards. This is the standard practice accepted by both suppliers and buyers.

  • Do you accept Letter of Credit (L/C)?

We can work with the following L/C structure:
100% Irrevocable L/C at Sight, confirmed and issued by one of the top 3 banks in Canada.

To evaluate the transaction with our banking department, we ask buyers to provide:

    • A copy of the latest L/C successfully used with a supplier.
    • A draft L/C format for the current transaction

If there is any confidential information on the previous L/C, you are welcome to remove or redact the names, account details, and any sensitive commercial information before sharing it with us.
